After playing in the Downriver League since 2009, Melvindale has joined the Western Wayne Athletic Conference.

The move sets up the Cardinals with a brand new slate of regular-season opponents. Beginning this year, they will see likes of Dearborn Heights Crestwood, Redford Thurston and Garden City on the gridiron. (Read the rest at the link)
